Happy Birthday to the Fire House10 years old... where does the time go?!?! The Fire House Restaurant located at the north end of downtown, celebrates its 10th Anniversary today. Donnie Brown and his staff have done a fabulous job of creating an inviting atmosphere full of character. Having restored the historic fire station was no easy feat and making it into the success it is today is quite an accomplishment. Our hats go off to Donnie and The Fire House Restaurant. Happy 10th Birthday! |

Goodbye Old FriendAfter 15 years of serving Downtown Harrisburg, Perks N' Bribes will be closing their doors on January 31st. The quaint shop has provided many with their daily lottery ticket and has often been frequented by tourists looking for Harrisburg memorabilia. The shop offered a variety of knick knacks and peculiar goodies, a little something for everyone... Perks N' Bribes will truly be missed! A Novelty on the HillIf you ever venture outside of Downtown Harrisburg, you will find a world full of history right next door at the National Civil War Museum.
