About Us

The Harrisburg Downtown Improvement District is focused on making downtown Clean, Safe, & Beautiful. The HDID provides a cleaning crew, safety team and various beautification programs to supplement the City of Harrisburg’s efforts. The HDID also promotes downtown as a great place to Live, Work, Shop, Dine, Play & Visit through various marketing and social media tools. The HDI D is continually looking for ways to make Downtown Harrisburg a more inviting and enjoyable place to live, work, shop, dine, play and visit. Welcome Bag service :

The Harrisburg Downtown Improvement District is happy to announce our Welcome Bag service. It is available for weddings, reunions, conferences, tour groups and conventions. Welcome bags provide information on Downtown Harrisburg and the Greater Harrisburg Area.
